SAMUEL COLLADO PRESIDENT Dear Friends, Members, and Esteemed Guests, As we gather to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the National Supermarket Association, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for how far we have come. Over the past three and a half decades, the NSA has grown into a vital pillar for independent supermarket operators, advocating for our members and the communities we serve. Our journey began with a shared mission—to support Hispanic supermarket owners and ensure they have the resources, connections, and knowledge to thrive. Today, we remain committed to that mission while expanding our vision to include initiatives that uplift our communities, provide opportunities for future generations, and foster growth within the food retail industry. This milestone year is not only a celebration of our past but also a reflection of the future we continue to build. We have strengthened relationships with local businesses, partnered with nonprofit organizations, and created programs that provide essential services for those in need. From our annual Toy Drive to our educational workshops and advocacy efforts, we are determined to make a lasting impact. None of this would have been possible without the support of our dedicated members, partners, and friends. Tonight, we honor you. Your commitment to the NSA has allowed us to flourish and to remain steadfast in our purpose. I also take this wonderful opportunity to congratulate Our member of the year Jose Arturo Payamps and our Company of the year Iberia Foods. As we look toward the future, let us continue working together with the same passion and determination that brought us here today. The next 35 years hold even greater promise for our association and our communities, and I am excited for all that we will accomplish together. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey.
