Grace Gomez Grace Gomez is a reporter and anchor for PIX11 News, appearing on weekdays and weekends during the 5, 6, and 10 p.m. newscasts. She’s an eight-time Emmy Award-winning bilingual journalist returning to the tri-state area after a decade. She spent close to nine years in Boston, where she was a news anchor for Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra and NBC Boston. She also served as a panelist on various political debates, which aired on NBC Boston, NBC Connecticut, and New England Cable News. Her reports have been featured nationally and internationally on NBC’s News Daily, Ecuavisa, and NTN24News. Prior to that, she helped launch Telemundo Las Vegas in 2014 as a Multimedia journalist. Before making her way in front of the camera, she started her career as a production assistant for ABC’s “The View” and worked at CNBC. Born in Ecuador, Grace migrated to the United States when she was 12 years old. She grew up in North Bergen, New Jersey, and attended Bergen Community College and Montclair State University, where she graduated with a major in Broadcasting. She’s fluent in Spanish, and on her free time she loves hiking, spending time with family, traveling and taking her adorable doodle Hudson (named after the Hudson River) for walks.
